My
father, now 87, attended school in Port Sunlight, probably in
the 20s. I lived in Wirral all my youth, swam in Port Sunlight
swimming pool, & walked its lovely boulevards. My father's sister
was married in Christ Church. Always loved the place!

really miss the village. I would just like to say hello to the
staff in the LLAG. hi.

there anyone out there who remembers us? I was a visitors guide
at Lever Bros in 1938. My mother and father were keen members
of the golf club.

population figures, climate, soils, vegetation etc????? Any

Hi,
I left the village to get married and come to Canada in 1975.
Me Mum'n'Dad are still living there and we visited them (not
our first visit) this Sept for their 50th weding aniversary;
and the village still looks good. I would like to see on the
website a photo/video tour of the village tho'. Not just the
main shots but a little more intimate and detailed as I am allways
telling people about it. A detailed map would allso be handy
and informative. Keep up the good work, Regards, Ian Gilbert.

I
grew up in the village and I didnt realise fully until I moved
away what it was I was moving from. I dont think it can be put
into words as they would not, could not, do it justice, but
it is always there in my heart and mind.I look forward to my
next trip back, not only because of family but to feel that
undescribable feeling one gets deep down inside that cant be
described but only felt, that feeling of home.
