Hulme Hall - W & S Owen,1900-01 Now host to antique, computer< and fashion fairs as well as a variety of social functions, the hall began life as a women's dining hall and was used for a time to house Lever's art collection. With the gabled-style of many of the public buildings, the simple exterior belies a cornucopia of decorative plasterwork inside. Lever bemoaned the cost of work compared to Gladstone Hall in achieving more or less the same type of facility. |
