Gladstone Hall - William Owen, 1891 Described by Lever as,'simple and unpretentious, admirably adapted for the pupose for which it was designed...',Gladstone Hall has served as a men's dining room, an auditorium and latterly as a fully functional theatre. Utilitarian in structure, it combines cladding of tile-hanging with half-timbering above the window areas.Additional facilities including a cinema projection room were added by Lomax-Simpson. |
