Bridge Inn - Grayson & Ould,1900 The building was constructed in the fashion of an old-English coaching house and named after the Victoria Bridge, buried when the estuary channel was filled in 1909 -1910. Rendered in colour -washed roughcast with large overhanging half-timbered gables, the U-shaped building encloses a spacious forecourt. Inside, the refurbished oak-panelled dining area only gives an indication of the splendour of the original decoration |
